HI-MOD Marine Shackles

Hi-Mod HR shackles are manufactured from Stainless Steel grade 17/4PH. A special manufacturing process is used which, contrary to other methods of production, electrical upsetting engenders no kinks or interruption of grain flow. The surface of the shackle is free from wrinkles and burrs. The cold shank remains totally undamaged. Even when the shackle heads are pressed into their finished shape, the grain structure of the external contour retains a high degree of accuracy.

This results in shackles offering a very high breaking load and high resistance to stress corrosion cracking without compromising the integrity of the shackle.
