Bonduelle :

Racing Yacht “Bonduelle”: Jean Le Cam (Skipper) was looking to optimise the mainsail track on Bonduelle. No existing system on the market was satisfactory to him. Working closely with Jean Le Cam, Karver designed a 1 kg (2.2lbs) headboard that minimizes torque on the track and integrates a 3:1 purchase.

Materials: Titanium and aluminium
Working load: 5T (11,000 lbs)
Weight 1050g (2.31 lbs)
Médiatis région aquitaine :

Racing Yacht “Mediatis Région Aquitaine”: Yves Parlier (Skipper & Inventor) works with Karver to change innovative ideas into complete systems and solutions. Utilizing a 3-point lashing technique through the eye of a KF12 Furler drum a dramatic reduction in weight was achieved without compromising integrity.

Materials: carbon, titnium, aluminium
Working load: 12T (26,400 lbs)
Weight 3358g (7.39 lbs)
Gitana XI :

Racing Yacht “Gitana XI”: Fred Le Peutrec (Skipper) wanted to have his 3 foresail sheets run through a single block. Karver designed the K5C1 block capable of accepting 3 large diameter sheets and attached the block with a simple 3-point lashing. This block conceived and developed with Fred Le Peutrec by simply exchanging some ideas was delivered within 3 weeks.

ABN AMRO :

Ben Wright, technical director of the project has asked us to develop high load low friction blocks for their boats. The Volvo Ocean race is the best real life test for our custom blocks and has enabled us to develop and validate a new technology to ensure minimum friction and weight on vital blocks (runners, main sheet) where safety can not be compromise.
