allspars are pleased to have been able to supply a new Seldén carbon mast for a Dazcat 1180. Although the mast was only marginally lighter than the equivalent aluminium mast the section was over 200% stiffer.

We also supplied a new Seldén boom, rod rigging for the diamonds, and a complete set of running rigging. In order to save weight the cap and lower shrouds were made out of Marlow's new SK78 Max (super pre stretched dyneema core) with Precourt lashing thimbles.
