Yacht Rigging & Ropes

Allspars manufacture our yacht and keelboat rigging using Hamma 1 x 19 wire, Hamma Pro 1 x 7 and 1 x 19 formed wire, Nitronic 50 solid rod and various composite materials. Wire is stocked in 2mm to 19mm diameters although our various swage machines can swage up to 28mm. Rod rigging can be manufactured from -4 to -150 using our own in house cold head machine.

We keep a comprehensive range of component parts to allow fast turnaround of rigging work, our stock holding sets us aside from the competition. We strongly recommend that wire rigging should be replaced every 10-12 years, or approximately 30,000 miles, whichever comes sooner (if your boat is used a lot or raced regularly, this time scale can be greatly reduced). Rod rigging should be inspected every 5-7 years depending on use.

In terms of rope we keep a comprehensive stock of Marlow's world leading yacht rope range allowing us to provide some of the most innovative, hard wearing and best handling ropes on the market today, including the latest in Dyneema fibre ropes to give the ultimate in sail or rig control. We specialise in using these fibres in the latest standing rigging solutions.

Allspars riggers can splice or taper the ropes in house to your custom requirements.
